Hey guys! I'm Jessica, and this will be week 5 of Renew/Cancel Predictions. This week, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin premiered. Here's a network update. The CW just announced that the upcoming fourth season of Beauty and the Beast will be its final season. Season three got poor ratings domestically (way worse than season three). Fate determined has been updated to reflect on the recent news.

Now for the shows...

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Premiered to a 0.3 A18-49 rating. Even for a CBS produced show, that is woefully rated, almost to the point of DOA. It got an order for six more scripts, just like iZombie. But that does not mean these extra scripts would lead to episodes. Immediately, the show will start as "likely to be canceled".

Jane the Virgin: Premiered to about the same A18-49 rating it has gotten in the spring, but despite critical acclaim, it's too soon to tell with one data point. Whether it stabilizes or not is going to be a tricky factor in predicting this returning dramedy. The show will start as a toss-up for now.

iZombie: With the second episode falling to a 0.5 A18-49 rating, iZombie is now on the bubble. It may not be the lowest rated Warner show pretty soon however.

The Vampire Diaries: Another week, another 0.6 A18-49 rating. It's really hard to predict what happens with this show, so I'm keeping it at a Toss-Up for another week.

As always, with posting this early than anticipated, changes in predictions will likely occur. Stay tuned! Let me know in the comments below!
