WEEKLY ANALYSIS

On Monday, Blindspot earned a 2.5 rating, up from the 2.4 rating of the previous week. Nothing has changed, Blindspot is still likely to be renewed (on the verge of certain renewal).

On Tuesday, Chicago Fire returned to NBC with a 1.8 rating for its season four premiere. Chicago Fire is still a solid, stable player for NBC and is certain to be renewed. No worries here.

On Wednesday, The Mysteries of Laura fell once again to a 1.0 rating. I really wanted to move Laura up to the bubble because of her stability and additional script order, but she keeps giving me reasons to keep her as a certain cancellation. Sorry Laura, you're a goner. Law & Order: SVU and Chicago P.D. both garnered a 1.5 rating. Although not the strongest, these two shows are certainly stable for NBC and certainly going to be renewed. In addition, P.D. also has the syndication factor working for it.

On Thursday, Heroes Reborn led the night with a disappointing 1.1 rating. Although some still see hope for renewal, I do not. Say goodbye to Heroes Reborn. Following Reborn, The Blacklist notched a 1.4 rating, down from the 1.5 rating of the previous week. I'm curious to see how far The Blacklist will fall, but regardless of how low its floor will be, this show is certain to be renewed. Only 22 more episodes are needed after this season for The Blacklist to reach the ideal number of episodes for syndication, 88. After season four, NBC will most likely be getting rid of this hit of the past. Do I really even need to waste my time writing about The Player? It managed a 0.7 rating. Yikes...

On Friday, Undateable returned up to a 0.9* from its 0.8 rating for the season three premiere. I have decided to be nice and move this show up to the bubble since it showed some growth and stability. Don't get too excited though, because I feel as if its renewal all depends on the performance of Hot & Bothered and Superstore come this midseason. More on that later, though... Truth Be Told was, to no one's surprise, DOA at a 0.7* rating. However, I must say that this was higher than I expected. Don't get your hopes up...truth be told, Truth Be Told is doomed.

*Friday's ratings are subject to change
