WEEKLY ANALYSIS

On Monday, Blindspot scored a 2.1 rating following the 3.0 rating of The Voice. Although it's now a full point down from its series premiere (3.1), Blindspot is most likely going to be renewed. Don't sweat over this show.

On Tuesday, Chicago Fire garnered a 1.6 rating following the 2.7 figure for Tuesday's edition of The Voice. Fire continues to be a steady player for NBC and will being seeing the 2016-2017 season.

On Wednesday, The Mysteries of Laura started the night with a 1.1 rating, up from the 1.0 rating from the previous week. I previously had Laura as "certain to be canceled," but I have now moved her all the way up to the bubble. Laura has shown stability, but the fact that NBC ordered five more scripts for this show is what truly caused me to move her up to the bubble. At 9, Law & Order: SVU notched a 1.5 rating, the same as last week. SVU continues to be one of the few stable shows for NBC and will certainly be seeing next season. Chicago P.D. ended the night with a season-low 1.4 rating, down from last week's 1.5 rating. This was a little alarming, but P.D. was actually still the winner of its timeslot on broadcast networks. Chicago P.D. will certainly be seen on the 2016-2017 schedule, just like Chicago Fire (and most likely Chicago Med, too!).

On Thursday, Heroes Reborn led off the night with a 1.1 rating, even with last week. I really thought that Reborn could have a chance at seeing next season, but I don't think that's a possibility now. The Blacklist garnered a 1.4 rating, also even with last week. Although its ratings aren't looking very lively, The Blacklist has the syndication factor working for it and will certainly be renewed come May 2016. The Player dropped even lower to a 0.8 rating and is certain to be canceled. Enough said.

On Friday, Undateable dropped to a 0.7* rating from the 0.9 rating of last week's episode. Last week, I had this show on the bubble, but it keeps giving me reasons to label it as likely to be canceled. Truth Be Told managed a 0.6* rating, down from to 0.7 rating of its season premiere. This show was DBA (dead before arrival) and is certain to be canceled.

*Friday's ratings are subject to change
