ABC started off the night with a fractional America's Funniest Home Videos (0.9), which hasn't really been the same in the ratings since the host change. Following was Once Upon a Time (1.6), down a whopping 33% from the 2.4 it posted for last season's performance. Leading out was Quantico (1.3), which failed to outrate the 1.5 Revenge did in the same time slot last season. ABC gave double the lead-in this week, and it failed to capitalize, showing that it may be stuck at these ratings at best.Football brought another awkward Sunday to CBS, who once again used the massive lead-in (an 8.5, and a 10.0 in A25-54 demo if anyone cares) on 60 Minutes, which had a 4.0 in its first half-hour due to the lead-in and the coverage of Paris, and dropped off after. The inflation was already over by the time Madam Secretary (1.3) aired at 9pm, as it lost nearly half of the final half-hour of its lead-in. At 10pm came The Good Wife (1.1) which proved that it could hold its low ratings in a later hour, at least. CSI: Cyber FINALLY came on at 11pm, airing the entirety of its episode outside of primetime, so I don't have a number yet.
FOX saw Bob's Burgers (1.0) tumble back down for its Christmas episode--no surprise to me. As a big fan of the show, I purposefully didn't watch it. It's not Christmas time yet, people! Following was a rerun of The Simpsons (1.2), which did pretty much on par with its recent original airings. Now in its 27th season, I guess people can't even tell if its a new episode or a repeat!--although the episode was a crossover with Futurama, so that should have provided a hint.
NBC won the night with football (6.5), and that's basically all I have to say on that.
