No surprise here, but per Nathan Varni (an ABC exec) on Twitter, The Middle's episode count has been upped from 22 to the typical 24. I haven't seen any news for the other Wednesday comedies, but it's all but certain the same fate will come to them.The show is currently averaging a 2.03 A18-49 rating, making it #5 in raw numbers for the network and #3 amongst comedies.
UPDATE 11/18: The Goldbergs, Blackish, and Fresh Off The Boat have also seen their episode orders upped to 24.
