ANALYSIS
Chicago Med: On Tuesday, Chicago Med premiered to a 2.2 rating, following the 2.6 rating of its lead-in, The Voice. With 85% retention from its lead-in and having the highest-rated premiere in the Chicago franchise, I think it is safe to say that Chicago Med is "certain to be renewed."
Grimm: On Friday, Grimm earned a 0.9 rating. I seem to have a very unpopular opinion on this subject, but I still think Grimm will AT LEAST get a shortened, final season. Grimm has consistently been NBC's highest-rated program on Fridays, so this just goes to show that NBC needs to fix other parts of their Friday BEFORE they get rid of Grimm. I would highly recommend this line-up to NBC, but it seems highly unlikely at this point:
8 - The Mysteries of Laura
9 - Dateline NBC
10 - Grimm
Undateable: I have decided to move Undateable up to the bubble until we see if Superstore and Telenovela end up working for NBC. If they do, Undateable is a goner. If they don't, NBC will have no choice but to renew Undateable because it is their only "veteran" comedy at this point.
