Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: For SEO purposes, this ratings turkey has to go back into the headline. The CW has ordered five extra episodes of this woefully-rated musical dramedy. #ExtendandPretend, as the TV Grim Reaper calls it. Any show, regardless of whether you're a rookie or not, with the initial season order of 13 episodes, in hopes of a back 9, but instead gets a partial backorder, it is doomed. That is, unless you're designated as a limited series like The 100. The SEO gods are satisfied.

Reign: In midseason news, after January 22, the show goes on hiatus. This does not mean that it will be canceled, because Beauty & the Beast went on hiatus due to a low rated season 2, and was renewed for two seasons to air in the summer. The same thing could happen for Reign. Therefore, Reign is likely to be renewed.
