Predict Tonight's Ratings for 'Mom', 'Elementary', 'Life in Pieces' + 'The Big Bang Theory'

CBS
Tonight, the third season of Mom premieres on CBS, along with the season four premiere of Elementary.

CBS Thursdays are now back in scripted form with The Big Bang Theory and Life in Pieces starting off the night in the 8-9 hour, which is the slot they have similarly occupied on Monday nights for their first few airings this season. Then, Mom and a rerun of The Big Bang Theory follow from 9-10 (2 Broke Girls to fill the 9:30 slot next week), with Elementary returning to its familiar 10pm slot to finish off the night.

For historical reference (in A18-49 ratings):
  • The Big Bang Theory premiered to a 4.7 this season on Monday, with its most recent airing posting a 4.4. Last season, its Monday season premiere drew a 5.5. It moved to Thursdays in the same fashion last season, where it saw a 4.4 for its first Thursday episode of the season and a 4.1 for its season finale.
  • Life in Pieces recently premiered to a 2.6, with its latest episode receiving a 2.1.
  • Mom premiered its second season to a 2.5 last fall, as it was the direct lead-out of Big Bang. When it occupied the 9:30 timeslot later in the season, following The Odd Couple, the show started with a 2.1 and its season finale drew a 2.0, neither of which were season lows despite the move.
  • Elementary had a season three premiere and finale of 1.2.
