(LY): The numbers are from last year's finale
Please note that last year's numbers are taken from the whole hour statistics, not the half-hours.
It was a special night for NBC, which aired The Voice on a Wednesday for the first time this season. Of course, it did a lot better than what Mysteries of Laura does in that timeslot, but quite less than the usual The Voice episodes. Nonetheless, the following shows did benefit from it, with Law and Order: SVU gaining five tenths (and keeping them through the whole hour) and Chicago PD gaining three in its first half-hour, but only keeping one tenth in the last. It's unimpressive when you look at last year's numbers, but still...
I thought CBS would be hurt by this special airing of The Voice since it also aired reality TV on that night but I was wrong! It actually rose, with Survivor up by two tenths in the first half-hour and Criminal Minds gaining two tenths, more or less. Code Black, on the other hand, was stable with its usual low but acceptable numbers.
Nothing too special on ABC since everything is stable after being back from a week break because of the Country Music Awards. Only The Goldbergs is down a tenth, everything else has the same numbers than two weeks ago.
FOX's Wednesdays continue to fall... Empire, the king of the network, is down 4-5 tenths from last week, approaching its series premiere numbers, which is also its series low. The fall is almost as impressive as its rise was last year, only a bit sadder... Rosewood, of course, lost a little bit of its audience due to that, but I do believe that it has its own viewership by now. Anyway, it's only down a tenth.
CW likes to play and it reverses last week's situation. While Arrow was up last week, it's now down 2 tenths, while Supernatural, which fell last week, is now up again, by 2 tenths.
What's to check out tonight, ratings wise? Will the season premiere of Two Broke Girls be successfull? Will Heroes Reborn rise again, or is it unrealistic to even think it could match its last week's numbers? Is TGIT in trouble?
What do you think of those ratings? Is your favorite show down? What did YOU watch? Tell us in the comments!
