CBS continued to easily dominate the competition as MacGyver (1.4) had a rather solid post-premiere drop, down just three tenths and four tenths above anything else in the hour. Meanwhile, veteran dramas Hawaii Five-0 (1.3) and Blue Bloods (1.3) stayed steady. Compared to last year's result, Hawaii Five-0 is up two tenths despite ratings continuing to decline while Blue Bloods is also impressively steady with last year's result. MacGyver is also up two tenths from last year's The Amazing Race so it's clear this lineup is on fire.

ABC slid into second as its Friday lineup continues to collapse around it. Last Man Standing (1.0) inched down from its premiere and tied its series low. While being down a tenth doesn't seem bad, this is a show that managed to inch up from its premiere last year to a 1.2 then the week after a 1.3, so it's looking to be a rough season for the veteran comedy. But Last Man's the least of ABC Friday's problems as Dr. Ken (0.8) inched down to a series low. One year ago, Ken defied the odds and premiered to a 1.5, so shedding nearly half that number a year later is a rather disappointing result. Ken still has time to redeem itself, but for now, chances for a season 3 are looking bleak. The only relatively good news to come out of the lineup was that at least Shark Tank (1.1) was steady with it's premiere, but, compared to last year, it's down a whopping six tenths.  20/20 (0.9) also did okay and rounded up the night up two tenths from last week.

After having an okay premiere, the life was sucked out of The Exorcist (0.7) as it fell three tenths from that passable 1.0, and is quickly heading into disaster territory. It's lead-in, Hell's Kitchen (1.0) was at least rather steady, down just a tenth.

NBC had a repeat of This Is Us (0.6) and Dateline (0.9/1.0).

The CW had the Masters of Illusion season finale (0.4) followed by a repeat of itself (0.3) and a repeat of Penn and Teller: Fool Us (0.4).
