CBS continued to dominate the Friday night landscape, but this time it was much less pronounced as MacGyver (1.1) continued to slide, down another two-tenths and now down over 45% from its impressive 1.7 premiere. MacGyver will need to stop its slide to stay in renewal territory, because another drop like that could spell doom for the reboot. Despite its lead-in's dip, Hawaii Five-0 (1.3) was steady with last week and compared to last year was actually up two-tenths and Blue Bloods (1.2) inched down but remained a strong performer and easily dominated against ABC and NBC's 10pm offerings.

There was better news to come out of ABC as Last Man Standing (1.1) stayed even with last week and tied MacGyver in the 18-49 demo, it was followed by Dr. Ken (0.9) which was up a tenth from last week's series low. Both these comedies look much healthier than they did on premiere night, and while Dr. Ken is still a tossup, it looks a bit safer retaining its premiere results in week 3. Meanwhile, Shark Tank (1.1) was steady with last week but continues to be a shadow of its former self as a 1.1 locks in as a tie for series low. 20/20 (0.8) rounded out the night down a tenth.

FOX had some good news for newbie drama The Exorcist (0.7) which was actually up a tenth from last week despite its lead-in, Hell's Kitchen (1.0) remaining even. It's probably not enough to get a renewal, but considering FOX let The Grinder air out a full season (which had even lower numbers), it's probably not getting pulled off the schedule anytime soon.

NBC had a repeat of the Timeless pilot (0.6) followed by Dateline (0.7/0.8) which slipped a bit from last week.

The CW had an iHeartRadio Music Festival (0.2) but forgot to send out the invitations.
