Why is Supergirl "Likely to be Renewed"?
I don't like making new shows certain to be renewed early on in the season based on one data point. Especially with shows new to the network. Nevertheless, Supergirl was the second highest rated show on the network during its season premiere. It even crushed Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's 0.3 premiere rating from a year ago by a wide margin. I think a 1.1 is more than good enough for renewal. Let's see how this number stabilizes before I make it "certain to be renewed".
Once more CW shows premiere, I may need to either upgrade or downgrade some predictions. Stay tuned!
