ABC premiered it's new comedy block of The Middle, American Housewife, Fresh Off the Boat, and The Real O'Neals last night, and the results were pretty good. American Housewife was their highest-rated show, scoring a 1.8. Fresh Off the Boat received a 1.5, up from its previous finale. The Real O'NEals received a 1.2, also up from its finale. The Middle was also up from its finale, growing a tenth. NCIS dropped two tenths, NCIS: NOLA dropped three, and Bull dropped three. This is Us Managed to do the incredible: it matched its premiere AND grew from The Voice. No Tomorrow completely collapsed, losing 40% of it's 18-49 rating. The Flash dropped three tenths. Fox's comedies (minus Scream Queens) also dropped a tenth each.
FINALS Update: The news kept getting better for ABC. The Middle, American Housewife, and Fresh Off the Boat each adjusted up a tenth. The Voice adjusted up a tenth, but it is still two tenths away from being that #1 show of the night. The CW's No Tomorrow adjusted down a tenth, making its result even more embarrassing. It retained just 40% of its premiere audience. But The Flash adjusted up, so there was some OK news for the CW last night.
