Taking up most of primetime last night was the Vice Presidential debate. NBC's coverage came in first with a 1.9, followed by ABC with a 1.2, CBS with a 1.1, and FOX with a 0.7.
The CW, however, did not air the debate, and instead aired the season premiere of The Flash, which earned a 1.2, down from the season finale's 1.3, down from last season's premiere's 1.4, and only a tenth above its low, and the series premiere of No Tomorrow, which was down from the season premiere of iZombie, which scored a 0.7, scoring a 0.5.
At 8:00, unscripted performed somewhat poorly, with a recap The Voice earning a 2.0, down from last week's 3.3, and Dancing with the Stars earned a 1.4, up from last week's 1.3.
Finally, CBS aired NCIS and FOX aired comedies Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl. NCIS earned a 1.8, down from last week's 2.1, and hitting a series low. Brooklyn Nine-Nine scored a 1.0, flat with last week's 1.0, and New Girl scored a 1.0, also flat last week's 1.0.
