S1E3 "The Confession"
The episode begins introducing another major problem, the White House getting hacked. The first act doesn't do much more, it just gives us a video of someone claiming responsibility for the attacks, which Kirkman doesn't believe.
The second act gets slightly more interesting, introducing a solid story for the family. Otherwise, it feels like little is getting accomplished in the amount of time the show has taken to accomplish it.
In the third act, Kirkman learns how honesty in DC can hurt, when he is asked not to speak at the funeral, but the surviving congresswoman is. At the funeral, the episode is getting more interesting.
Of course, Kirkman discovers that he can't trust the surviving congresswoman, and that is completely unsurprising. Politics continue on Kirkman's side, with his hopeful chief of staff taking the political route. The episode ends on a good cliffhanger.
This was really a weaker episode. I felt that it took way too long for things to happen, and that the family should have gotten more time.
