NBC took the night as usual with This Is Us (2.4) continuing to be a legitimate hit as it built big on its lead-in, The Voice (1.8), the latter of which slipped three-tenths from its previous outing.
ABC had The Middle (1.6) which stayed steady with its outing from a week ago while American Housewife (1.4) had an unprecedented two-tenth drop to a new low which is surprising as it had a much stronger lead-out with the Dancing with the Stars finale (1.8), the latter of which also underperformed and was down big from last year's 2.4.
CBS had a high-end NCIS (1.9) but Bull (1.5) and NCIS: New Orleans remained steady.
FOX's low-rated Tuesday line-up got even more disastrous as New Girl (0.8) and Scream Queens (0.5) each lost a tenth and hit brand new lows. At least Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9) continued to be steady matching last week's result.
The CW had The Flash (1.1) tick down followed by a stagnant but low No Tomorrow (0.3).
