While ABC was happy with their Thursday night, CBS was probably not thrilled with their lineup's ratings. The Big Bang Theory started off the night down three tenths, The Great Indoors fell two, and Mom and Life in Pieces were down one. Pure Genius clung to a low 0.9. ABC's fall finales rose, with Murder tying a season high and Grey's rebounding from its drop last week. Thursday Night Football low in prelims, but will likely adjust up. Supernatural also rose a tenth.
