Finals: On CBS, NFL Football Overrun (5.7) adjusted up, 60 Minutes (2.6) was down several tenths, NCIS: Los Angeles (1.5) and Elementary (0.7) also inched down a tenth each. NBC had Football Night in America (2.7) adjust down while Sunday Night Football (6.2) adjusted up. FOX had better news with the 7:30 Bob's Burgers (1.1) and Family Guy (1.4) adjusting up.
ABC gladly did away with their collapsing Sunday line-up substituting it with the American Music Awards (2.4). It ended up being down an alarming 30% from last year's stellar 3.5, but nevertheless put ABC on the map for one Sunday. America's Funniest Home Videos (1.1) aged better as it remained even year-to-year and posted it's strongest rating of the season.
NBC took the top spot as usual with Football Night in America (3.2) and Sunday Night Football (5.6) but they were still down five and nine-tenths respectively from last week. Despite this, they were still in-line with normal results with Sunday Night Football even year-to-year.
CBS's line-up had a football overrun which ended before prime-time likely resulting in lots of adjustments in finals. For what it is preliminary, 60 Minutes (3.1) was down three-tenths from last week's Trump interview but the NFL overrun dwindled away as the night went on with NCIS: Los Angeles (1.6) and Madam Secretary (1.0) but they were still even with last week. Rounding off the night was Elementary (0.8) which inched up from last week.
FOX had a rather normal night starting off with a repeat of The Simpsons (0.9) and Bob's Burgers (1.0). The 8:30 slot improved markedly as Bob's Burgers (1.2) took over for Son of Zorn and outdid every single non-NFL Zorn result with the lowest Simpsons of the season (1.3) and wasn't that far off from its NFL-inflated deliveries. Family Guy (1.3) was up a tenth from its last non-NFL night while The Last Man on Earth (0.9) was steady resulting in 4 straight non-NFL nights with the same result.
