ANALYSIS

Telenovela: On Monday, Telenovela premiered to 1.4 rating and then fell to a 0.9 rating for its second episode. This comedy did much worse than its companion show, Superstore, and will likely be canceled if only one of these shows is renewed. However, both shows still have a chance of getting either renewed or canceled based on their performances in January, so keep a look out for them when they return to their regular timeslots in the new year.

Grimm: After earning a 0.8 rating last Friday and a 0.9 rating this week, I have decided to finally move Grimm down to "on the bubble." I have given many reasons for why this show should at least get a final, shortened season, but Grimm is most likely going to be a goner if it gets anything less than its already-season-low 0.8 rating. With spring approaching and lower-than-fall ratings expected, it seems very unlikely that Grimm will be able to maintain or improve upon this season low. Because of this reason, I will now be "watching" Grimm and it could easily go either way come May 2016: renewal or cancellation.

The Blacklist: To no one's surprise, NBC gave a fourth-season renewal to The Blacklist this week. This renewal was inevitable because of the demand from the syndication gods, but it is still nice for the fans to now see it in the "renewed" category.
