Reasoning: ABC comedy is doing well, but I have said for the last few months that they will not renew seven comedies. What I actually mean is, they will not put seven comedies on their fall schedule (unless they expand to a huge five hours of comedy). But what to cancel? Unless Dr. Ken drops in the spring, it should be renewed. Fresh Off the Boat got twenty-four episodes this season, so ABC seems to be happy with its ratings, and Last Man Standing has been incredibly stable this season on Friday. So, I believe that they will renew...all of them. Yes, all seven, but save Fresh Off the Boat for mid-season, like Suburgatory two years ago. The other big ABC renewal question is regarding Castle and Nashville, ABC's two ten o'clock veteran dramas that are doing just okay in the ratings. I think that, due to music sales, Nashville will get one more season (though it will likely be its last) and move to Sundays at 10:00, a troubled timeslot. Quantico currently airs in that timeslot, and I think that, if it is renewed, it will move to 9:00. It is very much a bubble show in my opinion, and I think that, considering the spring ahead, it leans toward cancelation. Also considering this spring, new dramas The Catch, The Family, and Of Kings and Prophets will debut. OKAP seems destined for cancelation, while one of The Catch or The Family may survive. I think that The Family will fall short on Sundays, while The Catch, being a Shonda show, will survive. If that happens, there will be four Shonda Rhimes dramas returning to ABC, so I think that one will move. Grey's Anatomy will likely remain in that timeslot until it ends, because that was a problem timeslot in the past, and I don't see Scandal airing at 8:00. How to Get Away with Murder I expect to stay on Thursdays because I think that ABC will want to do the same thing they are doing this year with The Catch next year with another Shonda Rhimes drama. So, either Scandal or The Catch will move. I'm predicting The Catch.

Reasoning: This is not the best season for CBS when it comes to new shows. Limitless and Supergirl both started out strong, but began to fade after a few weeks. Life in Pieces got decent numbers, but more was expected of a show with such a great lead-in, especially when the show is not CBS produced. I have heard that CBS only wanted to give this show a partial order, not a full season, indicating not that they thought the show was doing well enough, but that they have little faith in The Odd Couple. Maybe Angel from Hell will survive, and if so I think that it will keep its Thursday at 9:30 timeslot, but other than that I think that one of Limitless or Supergirl will be renewed, and that will be it. Right now, I am expecting that to be Limitless. The Good Wife is supposed to end this season, and CSI Cyber is getting terrible ratings, so there will likely be two open hours on Sunday next fall. Elementary and NCIS: LA are the two worst performing weekday veteran dramas, so they will likely make the move to the weekend. With Supergirl gone, I think that CBS will expand to three hours of comedy in the fall and move 2 Broke Girls back to Monday to take The Big Bang Theory's place. Also, the scheduling of that half-hour is assuming that CBS keeps Thursday Night Football. I know very little about sports coverage on the networks, so I don't know if that will change or not.

Reasoning: There's a lot less to say with this one, as the CW only programs ten hours a week, a lot less than the nineteen hours I've been talking about with ABC and CBS. Basically, I think that everything will stay in the same timeslot it was at in the spring. I think that The Vampire Diaries and The 100 will earn renewals while iZombie and Containment will be canceled. Also, I think that Reign will head to the summer. The one change I was considering on this schedule is Supernatural. Legends of Tomorrow may have lower ratings than Arrow, so the CW may decide to launch a new show after Arrow as opposed to LOT.

Reasoning: I am guessing that FOX will renew one new comedy, either Grandfathered or Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life. I'm going with Cooper Barrett, mostly because of its timeslot. I think that Rosewood will remain on Thursday, assuming it doesn't plummet in the new year, and Empire will be the lead-out for a new drama, maybe Star. I think that Scream Queens will return due to its numbers in the younger demo and FOX's relationship with Ryan Murphy. I think that World's Funniest will get canceled, so Bones will end up back on Friday, with a new drama premiering on Thursday, though Bones could air on Thursday with Rosewood at 9:00 and FOX could just air repeats on Friday at 9:00 (or if FOX is feeling generous, they could renew New Girl and put it there, either airing two episodes a week or an original at 9:00 followed by a rerun at 9:30, like Raising Hope a couple of years back). I think that midseason dramas Second Chance and Lucifer will fail, so they are absent here.

Reasoning: I may be a bit optimistic to suggest that NBC renews both Superstore and The Carmichael Show and airs both in the fall with two new comedies, but that's what I'm predicting, and I'm sticking to it at least until we see how both shows perform in the upcoming months. I think that Chicago Med and Blindspot will move so that NBC can once again air comedy on Tuesday and debut a new drama on Monday. I think that those shows should take over the problem timeslots on Thursday, sandwiching a new show in the better 9:00 timeslot. The Blacklist, meanwhile, moves to Friday because I believe that Grimm is done, and that is really the best show for that timeslot (besides a two-hour Dateline). Unless one of the mid-season dramas are successful, I think that a new drama will air on Wednesdays at 8:00, but that could change, especially considering that we don't even know what NBC will air in that timeslot come spring. Also, I may not have put enough shows on that mid-season list.
