-Nashville downgraded from "Watching" to "Likely to be Cancelled"
Why Is Nashville "Likely to be Cancelled"?
If any of the above shows get saved by extraneous factors, I'm betting it's Nashville, with its low production cost, music sales, tours, and syndication value. Having said that, it just got a 0.8 in the A18-49 demo, and there is really only so low a show can go before the bad outweigh the good too
much to warrant a renewal. I'm sorry Nashville fans, you're great, but I think the show needs to gain a little bit back in the ratings in order to earn a renewal. Could a short summer run be possible? Maybe. Will it have a good syndication life? Probably. But it's getting hard to justify a fifth season. But please Nashville fans, continue to come back for more updates, because this could very easily change by May!
