During the broadcast of 'The Wiz Live!,' NBC aired a promo for 'The Carmichael Show' which stated the the sophomore comedy will "return this Spring to NBC."
This confirms that 'The Carmichael Show' will indeed be airing in-season on NBC instead of returning in the summer, where the first season aired.
