Why Am I "Watching" Bones?

Bones is a solid, at best, performer that FOX probably wishes could have been off the schedule a year or two ago. Now in its 11th season, Bones pulls in marginal ratings at the very best, and is widely seen to be filler while FOX tries to work on Tuesdays, primarily. Of course, there is much behind-the-scenes drama behind Bones, as apparently some of the people behind the show have sued the
network. Is it really worthwhile to go out of their way to keep around a show that is old and low-rated ? Then again, this is the network where all season, only five non-Empire episodes hit a 2.0 or above in the A18-49 demo. And of those five, three were Simpsons airings post-football, and one was Rosewood's premiere and its 8.0 lead-out.

Why is The Last Man On Earth Back to Being "Watching"?

FOX right now has two comedies returning--Bob's Burgers and Season 281203 of The Simpsons. Even though it appears the creators of Last Man have moved on to other, similarly high-concept projects, one of which was already ordered to series, it has been pointed out to me that it's not impossible to have a few different shows that you created on the air at the same time. If Bordertown and Cooper Barrett fail, like I kind of expect, we may be seeing Last Man back on our TVs sooner rather than later (hopefully sooner for the sake that I'm sensing a big cliffhanger). It gets decent-ish ratings, and shows like The Mindy Project have been renewed with worse. So I'll be watching this one.
