With the ABC comedies absent, CBS's MacGyver (1.2) jumped two-tenths week-to-week and was the highest-rated program in the 8pm hour. Hawaii Five-0 (1.3) benefitted from the bump and spiked alongside it while Blue Bloods (1.2) could only inch up at 10.

ABC retired their comedies for a week in favor of Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown (1.0). Charlie Brown did a bit worse than an average episode of Last Man Standing, it virtually matched its year-ago outing, so it's a very solid outing for the Peanuts brand. Brown led into Shark Tank (1.3) which was even with its week-ago result while 20/20 (0.9) inched down at 10.

It was disaster as usual on the other networks. NBC saw slippage with Grimm (0.7), down a tenth to a new low, at least Emerald City (0.6) remained steady despite being anemic. Dateline NBC (0.7) also inched down from its week-ago outing.

Rosewood (0.7) had a surprising uptick over on FOX, matching its Friday high, despite it still being a miserably low result. Sleepy Hollow (0.5) could only stay even with its series low.

The CW had the season premiere of Reign (0.2), it significantly underperformed and lost two-tenths from The Vampire Diaries (0.4), the latter was up a tenth from last week.
