Fresh off the renewal of The Mick, Fox has renewed another series, police dramedy Lethal Weapon, for a second season. The series has done well for Fox, holding its own without Empire and improving on Rosewood's Empire-boosted first season. The series had an 18 episode order this season, an order that was given out three weeks after the series premiere. Season 2 will consist of 22 episodes.
