The Goldbergs: After two seasons of airing at 8:30, ABC asked The Goldbergs to step into the 8:00 slot so that The Middle could go and support Tuesday nights in the comedy expansion. The Goldbergs has been able to continue performing well at 8:00, and has successfully launched the new show Speechless. There's no way this one isn't coming back,
The Real O'Neals: The season average for The Real O'Neals is has now inched down to 0.9. It would probably still be able to get renewed if ABC comedy wasn't doing so well, and still does have a chance in the likely scenario that ABC expands comedy hours, but I still don't think the renewal will happen. If it does, thank ABC Studios.
