A little shake-up was made to the top comedy list this week, as football heavily inflated Sunday's ratings of The Simpsons and Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life. The Simpsons season average jumped a tenth and a half, pulling ahead of The Goldbergs for the #3 spot. It looks increasingly unlikely that The Middle or Life in Pieces will catch up to it, though when The Simpsons settles in the mid 1s this spring, where its true strength lies, it will certainly fall a little in the rankings.

Cooper Barrett, which premiered to a 1.2, now comes in as #9 through the power of football. Superstore has fallen down to #13 after almost having a chance of making it into the Top 10 last week. And most notably, Mike & Molly enters as #11, not bad for a comedy cancelled before the season began.
