Hey folks, this is Jessica (aka Super Smoo). This is week 17 of the CW Renew/Cancel Watch predictions. This week marked the return of The 100 and the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Here are this week's predictions.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

The Originals

Prediction Changes from Last Time:
Reign downgraded from "Certain to be Renewed" to "Likely to be Renewed".
The 100 starts as a "Toss Up".
DC's Legends of Tomorrow starts as "Likely to be Renewed".

Why is The 100 a 'Toss Up'?
DC's Legends of Tomorrow had a three minute overrun leading into The 100. The overrun may cause the show to adjust down. As far as its fate, it's too early to tell. I'll get a better look at its fate next Saturday after the Friday ratings for The Vampire Diaries and The Originals come in. If the ratings for both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals drop after next Friday, and The 100 stays at the 0.6-0.8 range, expect The 100 to be back next season. But for now, The 100 will go into the 'Toss Up' column.

Why is DC's Legends of Tomorrow Likely to be Renewed?
DC's Legends of Tomorrow's series premiere and preview ratings were well above the CW scripted average. For that reason alone, I'm starting its prediction as "likely renewed". But as always, predictions change. Stay tuned.

Why is Reign Now 'Likely to be Renewed'?
Reign is going on hiatus, just like Beauty and the Beast did in its second season. One thing's for sure, it won't air during the regular season again with its woeful ratings. But 60+ episodes + CBS production = season 4 is going to air at some point. That's why I moved it back to its original prediction of "likely renewed".

Yet to Premiere: Containment

Question: How will The Vampire Diaries and The Originals ratings fare in their new time slots next week?
