Deadline, FOX has renewed
Empire for a third season. This doesn't come as a surprise for FOX's smash hit drama, which has averaged almost a 4.8 rating (A18-49) so far in its second season. While down slightly from the 5.1 average
Empire amassed in its breakout first season, there is little to complain about when it comes to this show. Star Taraji P. Henson recently taking home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Drama Series is only icing on the cake for FOX.
Empire returns March 30 at 9/8c.
