(LY): The numbers are from last year's finale
Please note that last year's numbers are taken from the whole hour statistics, not the half-hours.
ABC probably isn't so pleased with their Agent Carter renewal for a second season, since this one is drastically underperforming. Despite acceptable marketing, the show that already had an awful performance for its premiere is now down a tenth, going as low as 0.8 in its last half-hour. What Would You Do?, premiering last night, also had awful numbers with a 0.7. The 8pm reruns did okay with Fresh Off the Boat clearly beating The Muppets.
FOX is still struggling with its Tuesday comedies. Except for Grandfathered that stayed stable with a 0.9, every one of them was down a tenth, bringing The Grinder to a disastrous 0.7. New Girl is still comfortable (for FOX) at a 1.2 and Brooklyn Nine-Nine is dangerously close to the fractionnal with a 1.0...
NBC had a way better night with Hollywood Game Night staying quite stable. Where they really scored, though, was with their Chicago franchise, with both of them up by a tenth. With a 1.6 and a 1.8 respectively, both shows are assured a place on the Fall 2016 schedule, that's for sure. But when will NBC be able to have a scripted hit outside of their Chicago franchise (and not with The Voice as a lead-in)? Plus, with a fourth spin-off on the way, will fans get tired of those? Will they overkill it?
The Flash was on with a new episode on CW and stayed on par with last week's 1.4. After it was the pilot of DC's Legends of Tomorrow already aired last week. This rerun did great, actually surpassing iZombie's performance with an original episode. Everything leads to that conclusion: iZombie doesn't take enough of the super lead-in that is The Flash, and the latter could actually be a better help to another show. If the execs see it like that too, they might actually get it cancelled.
Nothing too interesting on CBS as all their shows were reruns, but NCIS still managed to win its hour, and CBS was second from 9 to 11. Just to show the strenght of their Tuesday line-up.
