Scrubs is scrubbing back in for the 2025-26 TV season. The long-running medical sitcom, which aired seven seasons on NBC before moving to ABC for its final two seasons, will officially return to screens in the upcoming TV season, as ABC has officially ordered the long-rumored revival of the series. Original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke are all signed on to appear in the revival, with negotiations ongoing with other stars, including Judy Reyes, who has a series regular gig on fellow ABC series High Potential but will most likely be able to appear on both series. The revival will feature Scrubs leads JD and Turk returning to work together, alongside new characters and those from the original series. This is only the second series order for ABC for next season, after 9-1-1: Nashville, and the network has several other projects in development to make decisions on soon, including a Rookie spinoff.
