Tuesday TV Ratings 10/12/21: Dancing with the Stars Ticks Down on Special Night, La Brea Steady, FBI and New Amsterdam Rise (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: NBC enjoyed some relative steadiness as 'The Voice' (0.86) and new drama 'La Brea' (0.63) only lost a single hundredth from last week. This is especially encouraging for 'La Brea' since it signifies that the drama may be stabilizing at a very sturdy level. After sinking for three weeks in a row, 'New Amsterdam' (0.37) got back a tenth in the 10pm slot. 'Dancing with the Stars' (0.66) fell by three-hundredths for the second installment of Disney night. At 10, the 'A Night in the Academy Museum' special (0.28) was about a tenth lower than the usual 'Good Doctor' episode. CBS rebounded rather nicely as 'FBI' (0.70), 'FBI: International' (0.58), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.63) all gained a tenth. Fox's 'The Resident' (0.45) lost three-hundredths while 'Our Kind of People' (0.33) rose by the same amount. 'Stargirl' (0.12, +0.03) and 'Supergirl' (0.09, +0.01) experienced some minor growth on the CW.

Finals Update: 'The Voice' (+0.1), 'Dancing with the Stars' (+0.1), 'The Resident' (+0.1) and 'FBI: International' (+0.1) adjusted up.
