Ratings Analysis: Sophomore sitcom 'B Positive' (0.46) made a soft landing for its CBS premiere, down a few hundredths from its May finale but relatively on-par with its spring 2021 performance. 'Positive' could not blame its lead-in for its shortcomings since 9pm anchor 'Ghosts' (0.61) somehow managed to rise by five hundredths from a debut that was already rather promising. In the 8pm hour, 'Young Sheldon' (0.65) dropped by the same amount that 'Ghosts' rose by while 'United States of Al' (0.50) gained a single hundredth. 10pm drama 'Bull' (0.32) garnered its lowest rating on record. On ABC, 'Station 19' (0.56, -0.02) and 'Grey's Anatomy' (0.61, -0.03) inched down to new series lows, but 'Big Sky' (0.34, +0.02) was able to stop its slide at 10. NBC's 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.72) got back a tenth while 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.55) held even. An 'SVU' rerun (0.38) posted a passable rating in the lead-off position. Fox's 'Buccaneers v. Eagles' NFL game (4.09) was down by just eight hundredths from last week's game. The CW's 'Legacies' (0.06) premiered with a new series low out the gate. Its 'Coroner' lead-in (0.07, +0.01) ticked up in the 8pm timeslot.
Finals Update: 'NFL' (+1.8), 'Young Sheldon' (+0.1), 'Station 19' (+0.1), 'B Positive' (+0.1) and 'Law & Order: SVU' (+0.1) adjusted up.
