Preliminary Analysis: ABC's 'Shark Tank' (0.5) had a lukewarm return for its 13th season but still tied Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.5) for the top spot in the key 18-49 demographic. The reality series was a tenth behind last October's premiere but even with its final few installments from May 2021. '20/20' (0.3) posted the same rating as last week in the 10pm timeslot, losing to NBC's 'Dateline' (0.4) head-on. 'Dateline' also had a much smaller lead-in than '20/20' as it led out of a feeble encore of 'La Brea' (0.2). On CBS, 'SWAT' (0.4), 'Magnum PI' (0.4), and 'Blue Bloods' (0.4) were all essentially unchanged from their week-ago debuts. 'Nancy Drew' (0.0) was dead on arrival for its third-season launch on the CW and lost a tenth from its 'Penn & Teller' (0.1) lead-in.
Finals Update: 20/20 (+0.1) and Nancy Drew (+0.1) adjusted up.
