Preliminary Analysis: Accompanied by host Rami Malek and musical guest Young Thug, 'Saturday Night Live' slid down to a 1.3 A18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets. This was three-tenths below last week's Kim Kardashian-hosted installment but steady with its October 2nd series low. Earlier in the evening, NBC had a rerun of 'La Brea' (0.2), 'Dateline' (0.3), and 'SNL Vintage' (0.3). Fox's 'College Football Extra' broadcast (0.7) was strong in the 8pm hour but the 'UCLA v. WA' game (0.3) dropped dramatically from there at 8:30. ABC's 'TCU v. OK' college football game (0.7) was two-tenths behind the preliminary rating of the week-ago one but tied Fox for the top telecast of the night. CBS got decent mileage out of a pair of 'Ghosts' reruns (0.2/0.2) but encores of 'B Positive' (0.1) and 'United States of Al' (0.1) slipped from there. '48 Hours' (0.2) picked up the slack in the 10pm slot. 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.1) and 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.1) were stable on the CW.
Finals Update: College Football: TCU v. OK (+0.1) and the repeat of B Positive (+0.1) adjusted up. Dateline (-0.1) and the repeat of La Brea (-0.1) adjusted up.
