Friday TV Ratings 10/15/21: Home Sweet Home Premieres Abysmally, MLB ALCS Dominates, SWAT Rises (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Game 1 of the American League Championship Series garnered a sturdy 1.1 rating on Fox, more than doubling last week's edition of 'WWE Smackdown' and every telecast on the competing networks. ABC's 'Shark Tank' (0.5) was steady with its week-ago premiere as '20/20' (0.3) inched down in the 9pm slot. 'SWAT' (0.5) gained a tenth on CBS but 'Magnum PI' (0.4) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.4) failed to rise alongside it. The series premiere of 'Home Sweet Home' (0.2) was a clear disaster for NBC and the struggling newbie seemed to drag 'Dateline' (0.3) down with it. 'Penn & Teller' (0.1) and 'Nancy Drew' (0.1) were relatively stable on the CW.

Finals Update: MLB ALCS (+0.3) adjusted up.
