ROBERT

CHARLES
What do you mean, this is exciting! We get front row seats!
ROBERT
We’re in the playoffs every year. It gets kinda boring.
ACE
Yeah, everyone knows the team is gonna win the championship and none of it will be because of us.
HARRY
Wait a minute…it’s the playoffs?! YES!!!!!!!!!!
HARRY jumps over the wall and runs full speed to the dugout.
DEVIN
What’s up with him?
MANNY
He’s scheduled to do his snack thing in the dugout for the playoffs. He’s very excited about it.
FELIX
I would be excited to be in the dugout too.
LORENZO
Do you mean to say…Harry isn’t going to be in the bullpen in the postseason?
MANNY
That was my impression.
LORENZO stares blankly at MANNY, then bolts onto the field.
LORENZO
HARRY!!!!! WAIT FOR ME!!!!!!!!
FELIX
Lorenzo’s gonna pretend he was moved to the dugout now, isn’t he?
ROBERT
Not one of his worst ideas.
CHARLES
Well he’s already walking back.
LORENZO
Good news guys! Harry gets to stay!
HARRY walks back.
HARRY
I wouldn’t call that great news.
LORENZO
All it took was me inviting the entire team over to the bullpen to watch the game with us!
MANNY
There’s no room in here for that!
HARRY
That’s what I said but it turns out cooking food in a dugout is considered a fire hazard.
ROBERT
So where’s the team?
LORENZO
Oh! Turns out they can’t come, they got some baseball game going on or something like that.
HARRY
I’d just like it to be known that I don’t feel like making food for anyone so—
DEVIN
But I wanted a hot dog.
HARRY rolls his eyes and cooks a hot dog.
ACE
Is anyone else scared that one of us will have to pitch? You hear about it all the time; a team doing well until the bullpen comes in to blow it.
MANNY
I wouldn’t say that happens all the time. Just all the time that this bullpen pitches, pretty much.
LORENZO
I know what would be fun!
CHARLES
What?
LORENZO
We pretend we’re announcers!
CHARLES
I don’t think that’s—
LORENZO
Swing and a low ground ball back to the middle baseman and…..he’s……uh, does anyone know if he’s safe or out?
ROBERT
The play hasn’t even happened yet.
LORENZO
I’m recapping the last play.
ROBERT
No clue.
FELIX
And that’s strike one! Huh, that’s actually kinda fun.
ACE
Let me try!
HARRY
No one’s stopping you although somebody probably should.
ACE
High fly ball…and….caught by Ace!!!
FELIX
Congratulations, you caught a home run ball by the other team.
CHARLES
Umpires are huddling up.
ROBERT
I think they just called the other guy out?
MANNY
Yeah, didn’t you hear about the new rule? Turns out someone in the bullpen can make an out if they catch a home run ball!
CHARLES
That’s the most ridiculous rule I’ve ever heard but congratulations on saving the game Ace!
ACE
It’s the least I could do. You know, maybe one day they’ll even let me pitch!
