Tuesday TV Ratings 2/13/24: FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted Rise in Returns, The Bachelor Slips on Special Night, La Brea Rises for Series Finale (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: CBS continued along with their version of premiere week, this time bringing FBI (0.57), FBI: International (0.44), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.42) back to the airwaves. These three all improved on their May 2023 finales (0.42/0.33/0.33), and FBI was actually the top-rated program of the night altogether. On ABC, The Bachelor (0.56, -0.05) settled for a second-place finish in the Adults 18-49 demographic as it was down significantly from Monday's episode. Night Court (0.30, +0.01), Extended Family (0.23, +0.01), and the La Brea series finale (0.19, +0.02) were all a bit higher than they were last week on NBC. Quantum Leap (0.18, 0.00), however, did not rise. Fox's Celebrity Name That Tune (0.26, -0.01) and The Floor (0.42, -0.04) lost some steam. Inside the NFL (0.05, -0.01) ticked down for its finale on the CW.

Finals Update: FBI (+0.1), The Bachelor (+0.1) and Celebrity Name That Tune (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 2/6/24: The Floor and Celebrity Name That Tune Drop, La Brea and Extended Family Hit New Lows (Final Ratings w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Fox game shows Celebrity Name That Tune (0.27, -0.05) and The Floor (0.46, -0.03) were down, but The Floor remained the top-rated program in primetime. NBC's Night Court (0.29, +0.01) picked up a hundredth, but Extended Family (0.22, -0.01) and La Brea (0.17, -0.01) ticked down to new lows. Quantum Leap (0.18, 0.00) held even at 10. Inside the NFL (0.06, 0.00) was steady on the CW, but Whose Line (0.07, -0.01) shed a hundredth. ABC had a strong encore of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.37), but reruns of Will Trent (0.16) and The Rookie (0.11) slipped significantly from there. CBS re-ran the FBI trio (0.25/0.22/0.19).

Tuesday TV Ratings 1/30/24: Quantum Leap Sinks to New Low in New Slot, La Brea and Night Court Also Hit Lows, The Floor Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: NBC's Quantum Leap (0.18, -0.07) crashed to a new series low after being off the air for 1½ months, while its La Brea lead-in (0.18, -0.02) set a new season low at 9 p.m. Night Court (0.28, -0.05) posted a new series low at 8, but Extended Family (0.23, 0.00) finally stopped its slide at 8:30. Celebrity Name That Tune (0.32, +0.04) and The Floor (0.49, +0.08) surged on Fox, but Tune could only tie ABC's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune repeat (0.32) in the key demo. The alphabet network also aired reruns of Will Trent (0.17) and The Rookie (0.12), but they were no match for CBS's encores of FBI (0.36), FBI: International (0.27), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.29). Inside the NFL (0.06, +0.02) and Whose Line (0.08, +0.03) climbed higher on the CW.

Finals Update: Repeats of FBI (+0.1) and Will Trent (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 1/23/24: Celebrity Jeopardy Drops for Finale, NCIS: Sydney Ends Steady, Extended Family Hits New Low, La Brea Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's Celebrity Jeopardy! (0.45, -0.12) lost some ground on finale night but was still the highest-rated program of the evening. In the 9 p.m. hour, Only Murders in the Building (0.20) closed out its broadcast run and led into a repeat of The Rookie (0.12). Over on CBS, NCIS: Sydney (0.35, 0.00) held steady for its season finale and was followed by reruns of FBI (0.25) and FBI: Most Wanted (0.22). Night Court (0.33, -0.04) and Extended Family (0.23, -0.03) slipped to new lows on NBC, with the latter now having declined for four-straight episodes. At 9, LA Brea (0.20, +0.01) picked up a hundredth but was only a bit stronger than the 10 p.m. Found rerun (0.19). Celebrity Name That Tune (0.28, -0.01) lost a hundredth on Fox, while The Floor (0.41, -0.10) lost a full tenth. Despite the decline, The Floor did not set a new low and instead tied its premiere rating from early January. In CW land, Inside the NFL (0.04, -0.01) shed a hundredth, while Whose Line (0.05, +0.01) gained one.

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary rounded ratings.

Tuesday TV Ratings 1/16/24: The Floor Hits Another New High, Celebrity Jeopardy and Night Court Also Rise, Found Steady for Finale (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Though its Celebrity Name That Tune lead-in (0.29, -0.01) inched down, Rob Lowe game show The Floor (0.51, +0.07) soared to yet another season high on Fox. ABC's Celebrity Jeopardy! (0.57, +0.08) rose by a similar amount and seemed to help Only Murders in the Building (0.26/0.21/0.19) grow by two-hundredths in each hour. Night Court (0.37, +0.02) ticked up on NBC, but Extended Family (0.26, -0.01) declined some more. In the 10 p.m. time slot, Found (0.26, 0.00) held even for its finale and built on a meager LA Brea (0.19, -0.01). NCIS: Sydney (0.35, -0.01) also shed a hundredth on CBS, while Inside the NFL (0.05, -0.03) and Whose Line (0.04, -0.03) lost three on the CW.

Finals Update: Celebrity Jeopardy! (+0.1) and Only Murders in the Building at 9 PM (+0.1) adjusted up.
