TV Ratings 2/28/17: New Girl Slips, Real O'Neals Rises at 8:30, NBC's Trump Coverage Wins (UPDATED)

Due to the coverage of Donald Trump's speech, Tuesday was a pretty irregular ratings night. Many regularly scheduled programs took the night off, with only six shows actually airing original episodes last night. ABC aired their 9 PM duo in the 8 PM slots that they held last spring, and they both rose. The CW's Flash was up, and it lead into a repeat of Riverdale, which tied last week's original. Fox's New Girl slipped a tenth and tied The Mick. The Voice had a full half point slippage, but still lead the night comfortably. When it comes to Donald Trump's speech last night, NBC's coverage blew the other networks out of the water.

Finals Update: A repeat of The Wall (-0.1), The Real O'Neals (-0.1), and Fresh Off the Boat (-0.1) adjusted down.
