Finals Update: When We Rise (0.4) adjusted down.
After weeks of ho-hum ratings, Friday night finally saw some change for once as ABC pushed Shark Tank (1.4) an hour earlier to make room for the last batch of When We Rise (0.5/0.4) episodes. Shark Tank managed to match last week's outing, but When We Rise could only match its miserable day-ago outing as it leaves the grid for good.
NBC had the finale of disappointing freshman Emerald City (0.7). City managed to inch up after a string of 0.6s but it still didn't make much of a case for renewal. Grimm (0.8) and Dateline (0.8) were even with their week-ago outings at 8 and 10 respectively.
FOX went with a repeat of Rosewood (0.4) which in turn sank Sleepy Hollow (0.4) to a dreadful new low.
The CW had more of The Vampire Diaries (0.4) and Reign (0.2), both even with last week.
CBS had an all repeat-night with MacGyver (0.7), Hawaii Five-0 (0.8), and Blue Bloods (0.7) and they were still within striking distance of the NBC originals.
