Ratings Analysis: The series has been in perpetual freefall for some time, but almost no one could have expected 'The Masked Singer' (0.39, -0.28) to plummet by over 40% on a week-to-week basis. This enormous crash can partially be blamed on the series being pushed to 8:30PM for the night. At 8, the 'Phillies v. Padres' MLB game (0.60) that occupied the usual 'Masked Singer' timeslot was almost on-par with the first three 'Singer' episodes from this season. Fox didn't have much better luck at 9:30 as 'LEGO Masters' (0.27, -0.07) also slipped to a new low. On CBS, 'Survivor' (0.67, -0.05) and 'The Amazing Race' (0.27, -0.05) each dropped by five-hundredths. In-between those staples, 'The Real Love Boat' (0.26, +0.01) inched back up to its premiere rating from two weeks ago. ABC comedies 'The Conners' (0.51, +0.03), 'The Goldbergs' (0.39, +0.05), and 'Home Economics' (0.36, +0.03) all rose by a few hundredths apiece. On the other hand, 'Abbott Elementary' (0.48, -0.01) and 'Big Sky' (0.23, -0.02) dipped ever-so-slightly. Dramas 'Chicago Med' (0.64, +0.08) and 'Chicago PD' (0.60, +0.01) grew on NBC while 'Chicago Fire' (0.64, -0.03) declined. The CW's 'Stargirl' (0.09, +0.01) picked up a hundredth as 'Kung Fu' (0.06, -0.02) fell to a new series low.
