ROBERT, LORENZO, ACE, BRYAN, VICTOR, MANNY, and HARRY are all in the Indianapolis Primitives bullpen. It is the first game of the Championship Series.
ACE
That was pretty insulting that they didn’t let us sit in here for an entire series.
MANNY
Yep, but we’re back for the Championship Series. How cool is that?!
LORENZO
Pretty cool if you ask Robert.
ROBERT
What? I never said that!
BRYAN
Robert…you think being here is cool?!
ROBERT

HARRY
I don’t know, sounds like something he’d say.
ROBERT
What, why?!
HARRY
You’ve been here pretty long, admit it, you like baseball.
ROBERT
So maybe I’ve been watching the game every now and again, but—
ACE
Are you kidding me?!
ROBERT
We’re at a baseball stadium, I think we’re allowed to watch our team play!
ACE
This is getting ridiculous, you call yourself co-captain of the bullpen and you watch the team play?!
ROBERT
I don’t see anything wrong with that…
ACE
Well I do.
MANNY
You better not watch this series, they’re only playing some underdog team from Ohio.
VICTOR
I say we should have a vote on if Robert stays co-caption. All in favor?
ACE
No, as the person next in line in seniority, I dub myself co-caption.
ROBERT
Was that a coup?
LORENZO
Sounds that way to me.
BRYAN
Also, I was here before you, Ace.
ACE
But you left and I already became co-captain.
VICTOR
I still say we should have a vote. All in favor of Ace being co-caption?
ACE
Me!
VICTOR
All opposed?
Nobody answers.
VICTOR
Okay, I guess Ace is a co-caption now. So, what do those even do?
LORENZO
We have official titles.
VICTOR
Yeah but what are your responsibilities?
LORENZO
Stuff.
ACE
As co-captain I’m issuing a mandate that nobody can watch the game.
HARRY
Come on, even I think that’s ridiculous.
BRYAN
I hate to go against new team rules but why is the umpire sniffing our pitcher’s hair?
MANNY
Looks to me like they’re checking another one of our guys for an illegal substance.
ROBERT
Who says we leave before Jason can run over here and make one of us pitch?
