The Real Love Boat Officially Decommissioned by CBS, Will Now Set Sail at Paramount+

After hitting a ratings iceberg, The Real Love Boat has officially been put out of commission. It has been pulled from CBS's schedule after only four episodes, the first series this season to have this fate befall it. The dating reality series has been a beyond-embarrassing performer for CBS, ranking as the third-lowest-rated Big Four series while airing behind TV's #1 show, Survivor (not counting NFl-inflated episodes of 60 Minutes and The Simpsons). Its 0.24 average was a tenth below the average of The Amazing Race, which aired as TRLB's 10 PM lead-out. Hosted by Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn, the series will air out the remaining episodes in a weekly basis on Paramount+, the streamer that shares a parent company with CBS and is the exclusive next-day streaming home to all CBS series. CBS will now move The Amazing Race to 9 PM, with drama repeats airing at 10.

What do you think of this news? Will you follow The Real Love Boat on its move to Paramount+?
