Below are the latest renew/cancel predictions for the Fox network. Three shows have entered the table since the last update, one longtime veteran and two fresh faces. Another series receives a downgrade due to an upcoming timeslot change.

Call Me Kat: Fox has put 'Call Me Kat' in a very solid position to succeed, first giving it a direct NFL lead-in for its series premiere and then placing it in the 9pm anchor slot on Thursday nights. Previous 'Last Man Standing' companions aired at the bottom of the hour but Fox seems confident enough in 'Kat' to grant it the more prestigious spot. For the time being, 'Call Me Kat' has appeared to live up to the network's expectations. The Mayim Bialik vehicle garnered a respectable 1.4 A18-49 rating for its Sunday debut, retaining more than 50% of its football lead-in (2.6). Half that audience departed for its Thursday installment but the 0.7 rating that 'Kat' posted is still nothing to scoff at. To put things into perspective, a 0.66 rating is the highest that 'The Simpsons' has gone this season without NFL help, slightly lower than the 0.68 that Bialik's program posted. With 'Last Man Standing' on its way out, Fox likely wants to keep at least one live-action comedy on its roster. Luckily for them, 'Call Me Kat' is currently doing well enough to get by. Another season looks to be in the cards for this freshman sitcom. Status: LIKELY RENEWAL

Bless the Harts: 'Harts' was slated to air an episode on January 3rd, but Fox ended up booting it off the schedule in favor of a 'Great North' preview. That essentially sums up why 'Bless the Harts' has been downgraded from 'Likely Renewal' to 'Likely to be Canceled'. At first, it seemed like 'Harts' could coast to a third season despite feeble ratings and dreadful retention. But, it appears Fox will be airing the remaining episodes in the unfavorable 7:30 slot and giving 'The Great North' the coveted post-'Simpsons' timeslot. On top of that, no reruns of 'Bless the Harts' will be airing during the January hiatus. All these signs point to the fact that the network has finally given up on Betty and friends. They have nurtured this cartoon since fall 2019 but ratings have only gotten worse and buzz has never materialized. Status: LIKELY CANCEL

Last Man Standing: After a tepid eight year, 'Last Man Standing' returned for its 9th and final season in particularly ugly fashion, hitting a new series low (0.5) last Sunday. Fortunately for 'Last Man', the bleeding stopped there as it inched up to a 0.6 rating for its timeslot debut on Thursday. 'Last Man Standing' had a strong run but it's clear that its best days are behind it, season nine feels like the perfect place to stop. At the very worst, this Tim Allen sitcom works as decent filler by taking up an undesirable slot and posting passable numbers. Status: ENDED

The Great North: This animated comedy was renewed long before it aired its first episode, debuting with an acceptable 0.7 A18-49 rating on Sunday, January 3rd. While it is currently unknown how 'Great North' will perform with a more compatible 'Simpsons' lead-in, its performance is essentially irrelevant given a second season has already been secured. Original episodes will return on February 14th. Status: RENEWED
