'20/20' (0.5) was in repeat-mode at 9 but still outperformed an original episode of NBC's 'Dateline' (0.4) head-on. The peacock network also offered up the winter return of 'The Blacklist' (0.4), steady with its previous installment. 'MacGyver' (0.5) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.5) both lost a tenth on CBS while 'Magnum PI' (0.6) inched up at 9. 'WWE Smackdown' (0.6) shed a tenth on Fox after tying 'Shark Tank' seven days prior. The CW had 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.2/0.1) and 'Penn & Teller' (0.1).
