Preliminary Analysis: Regular programming was largely disrupted by the riots at the Capitol, NBC's coverage (1.0) was two-tenths ahead of ABC's (0.8) while CBS's presentation (0.3) trailed the other two by a significant amount. CBS's broadcast came an hour after the alphabet and peacock networks, leading out of repeats of 'Young Sheldon' (0.5) and 'The Neighborhood' (0.4). Amidst the riots, Fox decided to go ahead with their scheduled broadcasts, airing the timeslot debut of 'The Masked Dancer' (0.7) and the series premiere of 'Name That Tune' (0.7). Although 'Dancer' shed seven-tenths from its football-boosted preview (1.4), it remains in fairly solid territory. 'Tune' was able to fully retain its lead-in and beat out all programs in its timeslot. The CW went with 'Riverdale' (0.1) and 'Nancy Drew' (0.1) repeats.
Finals Update: 'NBC News: Capitol Hill Coverage' (+0.1) adjusted up.
