This is The TV Ratings Guide’s first renew/cancel post for Apple TV+, Apple’s paid streaming service. Using audience demand figures from Parrot Analytics can give us a solid stance on where things stand at the moment. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment!
Note: If a show receives a 5.0 in the ‘U.S. Audience Demand Multiplier,’ that means the show has five times more audience demand than the average show across all of television, past and present, on a rolling 30-day average. These numbers are updated as of Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Search Party
A continuation from TBS, Search Party is one of HBO Max’s most in-demand shows, 14 times more than the average show. Looking at the above table, there is plenty of evidence to suggest HBO Max is off to a very strong start; a 14.0 multiplier would be enough to be Peacock’s most in-demand original, and it would be number two on Amazon Prime Video. There is no reason to believe Search Party is in danger.
Infinity Train
Infinity Train is also strong at the moment; while not as strong as many of HBO Max’s other continuations, its 9.3 multiplier is the median when discounting the two shows at the bottom of the table. The 9.3 multiplier alone suggests Infinity Train is looking safe.
Looney Tunes Cartoons
Looney Tunes Cartoons has nowhere near the audience demand as fellow kids program Sesame Street, but it is still more in-demand than the already-renewed kids cartoon Tig n’ Seek. It’s tough to imagine HBO Max canceling a show that’s doing decently and has a recognizable name.
Esme & Roy
Like Looney Tunes Cartoons, Esme & Roy is a kids program with an audience demand lower than Sesame Street, but higher than Tig n’ Seek. Esme & Roy is far from impressive right now with a 0.7 multiplier. The only thing stopping this from having a cancelation prediction is the fact that HBO Max has already renewed Tig n’ Seek, indicating they may not be in the business of canceling originals yet.
The Fungies! & Summer Camp Island
These two cartoons have been grouped together because no audience demand has been reported for either one. With all other factors unknown, these would have to be labeled as tossups. Even in the worst case scenario, these two shows are still likely at or above Tig n’ Seek. HBO Max has not yet proven that it is ready to cancel shows, so renewals are predicted for both The Fungies! and Summer Camp Island.
