What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max from June 22-June 28

It was a big week on streaming, with several new entires that went straight to #1 on their restrictive streamers, while powerhouses like Love Island USA and Criminal Minds continued their stranglehold on their streaming services. Keep reading to see where these new entries landed, and how some of the top performers from previous weeks continued to stack up this week.

Hulu:

After weeks without any high-profile series (sorry, Nine Perfect Strangers), Hulu finally brought back one of their most well-known series, as Emmy-winning culinary "comedy" The Bear returned for its fourth season, dropping its entire season at once, getting a primetime release on Wednesday night. To no one's surprise, the show debuted at #1 on the chart, breathing a bit of life back into the Hulu charts, which have been sorely missing the presence of top-tier ABC and Hulu originals the last few weeks. Before The Bear's arrival, it was 20/20 and General Hospital topping the chart. The ABC newsmagazine has always been a solid streaming performer, even during the season, so it's unsurprising to find it atop the list as it continues to air new episodes in the barren summer months. General Hospital is also traditionally a solid performer on Hulu, but has really benefited from the general lack of competition this summer, reaching new heights in the absence of most other ABC programs. Outside of those two top performers, ABC's only other series on the chart were daytime news series: Good Morning America, The View and World News Tonight all made appearances on the chart this week. CMA Fest, an annual music special, also charted at #6 for the one day it's been available on Hulu. With the NBA Finals now over, ABC's summer lineup is on its way in just a few weeks, so we may see a significantly increased ABC presence on this chart soon. For now, though, Fox had far more primetime series on the chart. Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service remained the highlight of the network once again, peaking at #3 and charting in the top ten the whole week. LEGO Masters pulled back ahead of The Quiz with Balls this week (#5 vs. #8), as the two series continue to go back and forth as to which of the two is the better streaming performer. The 1% Club dropped off the chart for the first time this season, and stayed off for three days after that. When it returned, it assumed the #7 spot on the chart, and remained on the chart from that point. Despite a weakened 1% Club showing, it still looked better than The Snake. That series charted only two days this week and peaked at #8, which was actually a slightly better performance than the week before. MasterChef remained solid, though less so than its lead-out, charting the entire week and peaking at #4. The cartoons took the week off, but Bob's Burgers remained on the chart all week and rose as high as #3, while Family Guy (having been off two weeks longer than Bob's Burgers) managed three appearances. Love Island UK remained on the chart this week, never dropping out of the top five. Interest in the current season of Love Island USA (a Peacock original) fueled new interest in the show's old CBS seasons, which are available on Hulu. It charted five days this week. The Handmaid's Tale and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives continue to slow down a bit, with Handmaid's Tale even dropping off the chart for one day this week before returning. Nine Perfect Strangers charted all week, ranging from 8th place at its worst point to 3rd at its best.

Disney+:

We finally have a series topping the Disney+ chart again, and all it took was the debut of a new Marvel series! Ironheart debuted this week in strong fashion, racing straight to the top and never leaving. It wasn't the only series to help break the drought, though. Underdogs remained on the chart the first two days of the week before leaving, after what had been an OK but uneventful run. The Bear also made its way onto the chart, with the hit Hulu series charting at #8 on the Disney+ chart. A filmed production of the Frozen musical was #1 for the first three days of the week, the only title besides Ironheart to lead the chart this week. The rest of the chart was all movies. The 2025 Snow White reboot slipped a bit this week, but stayed stable at #2 for most of the week. Hulu's Barbara Walters documentary charted three days this week, peaking at #5 on the chart. Captain America: Brave New World, Alvin and the Chipmunks and its Squeakuel, The Sandlot, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Stitch! The Movie, Leroy & Stitch, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Avengers: Endgame were among the films to spend multiple days on the chart this week.

Peacock:

Last week, I discovered that Peacock has a different top ten chart depending on what device you're viewing it on. The chart viewed on a computer (which is how the data has always been collected) differs from the chart on a phone (or a TV, which has the same chart as a phone). Due to this peculiarity, I'll be posting two charts for Peacock from this point on, while the analysis will remain based around the computer chart for continuity. Speaking of continuity, Love Island USA remained dominant on Peacock, notching another seven wins on the chart. Beyond that, Bravo series looked strong once again. Next Generation NYC, Below Deck and The Valley all rose to #2 on the chart, while Real Housewives of Atlanta and Miami both charted for nearly the entire week. Watch What Happens Live also managed to chart a few days this week. Peacock reality series Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together entered the chart strong at #2, and stayed there the next day. Poker Face got lost in the shuffle a bit this week, peaking at #2 for just one day, unable to return to its peak after a new episode was released on Thursday. Resident Alien charted the entire week and peaked at #3. NBC had a fairly mediocre week. Destination X only charted the one day this week, as did America's Got Talent. Dateline NBC was their strongest performer, spending four days on the chart. Transplant charted towards the bottom of the list three times this week. American Ninja Warrior and Yes, Chef! were both entirely MIA this week.

Paramount+:

Criminal Minds continues to take advantage of a dearth of original programming on Paramount+. It's one of the few shows releasing new episodes weekly on the service, and is easily the strongest one as well, allowing it to continue romping to an easy victory each day. It hasn't left the top spot on Paramount+ since the finale of MobLand, and Paramount+ doesn't seem to have anything in the works that'll knock it down before its finale in two weeks. SpongeBob SquarePants spent almost the whole week at #2, with The Chi being the only show to break its streak. As one of the other series relating new episodes on Paramount+ weekly, The Chi also remained comfortably in the top ten through the week. RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars managed two appearances on the chart once again, continuing to chart in the same position on the chart as it has for the last month (#5 on its first day, #9 the next). CBS Sunday Morning made a pretty shocking debut on the chart, having never been on the chart before it entered at #7 on Sunday. Beyond that, the chart was filled with shows that haven't aired in quite a while, NCIS, Ghosts, Survivor, The Neighborhood and Blue Bloods all stayed on the chart all week. Two weeks after making a shock one-off appearance, Hawaii Five-0 has become a semi-regular presence on the chart, logging five appearances this week. Everybody Loves Raymond also charted five days this week. MobLand charted for one day.

Max:

It was a big week on Max for actress Cynthia Nixon: she stars in both of the streamer's top programs, as And Just Like That continued to top the chart several times, while The Gilded Age also returned this week in strong fashion. Comedy And Just Like That topped the chart three days, a decline from previous weeks, but losing to The Gilded Age is a bit more understandable than some of the shows that were beating it in previous weeks, so this was still a solid week for it. The Gilded Age had already been gaining steam at the end of last week, so seeing it make its way to the top of the chart now that a new episode is available is far from a surprise. It was #1 for four days of the last week, ensuring a scripted sweep of the #1 spot after a few weeks of docuseries and TLC programs seeking out wins. Outside of the two biggest highlights of the week, Duster had another week doing solid business, charting the entire week and peaking at #2 on the chart. Last Week Tonight was nearly back to charting the entire week, spending six days on the chart and peaking at #2. Real Time charted three days this week, and would've improved over last week's showing if it had aired this Friday. It now heads into a month-long hiatus, so it won't be seen on the chart for the foreseeable future. HBO's The Mortician lingered on the chart through the week despite ending the week before. Max's Spanish-language Chespirito: Not Really on Purpose has been on and off the chart since its debut, but spent four days charting this week, its best showing so far. CW's Sherlock & Daughter finally left the chart his week after an impressive run. What's New Scooby-Doo made its surprising debut on the chart this week, though it was only on there for one day. It's the first time a classic children's cartoon has made the chart, despite many being available on Max (though less than there used to be, after most Looney Tunes titles were purged from the service). Several series from Discovery cable networks also charted, including 1000-lb. Roomies, 90 Day Hunt for Love, 90 Day Fiancé, American Monster, and Fatal Destination.
