Ratings Analysis: On a Sunday night mostly populated by reruns, NBC's telecast of the 'Steelers v. Chiefs' NFL game (7.91) rose by over 60% from the week-ago 'Chargers v. Raiders' matchup (4.85) and beat all competing programs that aired in the 8pm-11pm stretch. A 7pm encore of 'Grand Crew' (0.44) went higher than every one of its first-run episodes and led into 'Football Night in America' (0.80). CBS's '60 Minutes' (1.65, +0.52) improved by five-tenths from the week prior thanks to an 'NFL Overrun' lead-in (10.69) that was triple the size of the one from the previous Sunday (3.36). Repeats of 'The Equalizer' (0.50) and 'SWAT' (0.32) filled out the remainder of the evening. ABC had solid reruns of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.41) and 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' (0.42), but encores of 'Supermarket Sweep' (0.31) and 'The Rookie' (0.18) tapered off from there. Fox had middling reruns of 'The Simpsons' (0.24/0.27), 'Bob's Burgers' (0.21/0.23), 'The Great North' (0.23), and 'Family Guy' (0.29). The CW's 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' (0.07, +0.03) picked up three-hundredths and was followed by the season premiere of 'Two Sentence Horror Stories' (0.05/0.05). 'Horror Stories' was at less than half of its 2021 debut (0.12/0.10).
Finals Update: 'NFL Overrun' (+2.4) and 'NFL: Steelers v. Chiefs' (+1.9) adjusted up. '60 Minutes' (-0.4), 'Football Night in America' (-4.7), and the repeat of 'Grand Crew' (-1.1) adjusted down.
