Friday TV Ratings 1/21/22: Shark Tank and WWE Smackdown Rise, Undercover Boss and Magnum PI Dip (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: It was a photo-finish in the 8PM hour as ABC's 'Shark Tank' (0.65, +0.05) and Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.64, +0.08) battled it out for the top spot. 'Tank' managed to eek out a victory and was followed by a sinking '20/20' (0.44, -0.10). CBS's 'Undercover Boss' (0.42, -0.12) crashed to a season low at 8 as 'Blue Bloods' (0.53, +0.05) climbed to a season high in the 10PM slot. In-between those two, 'Magnum PI' (0.49, -0.01) lost a hundredth. Airing behind an encore of 'That's My Jam' (0.37), NBC's 'Dateline' (0.41, -0.04) dropped by four-hundredths and remained a bit lower than newsmagazine competitor '20/20'. On the CW, 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.15, +0.03) and 'Nancy Drew' (0.09, +0.03) grew by three-hundredths apiece.
